Join us for drum lessons in English! Whether you dream of starting to play or are already a drummer looking to refine your skills, our one-on-one lessons are perfect for you! In our sessions, you’ll be able to play along to your favorite song—complete with a backing track—after just 2–3 lessons.

We have no age restrictions. This means you can join us regardless of your age! Our youngest student is 4 years old, and our oldest is 62. So, if you’d like to try and play on the drum kit, give us a call at 782 688 829 or send an email to drumschool (at) gmail.com.

We record our students’ progress. Below, twelve-year-old Tymek plays the song „The Final Countdown” by Europe:

Most sessions at Drum School are individual lessons, with each lesson lasting 60 minutes. Longer sessions (120 minutes) are also available. We additionally offer drum lessons designed for parents and children to learn together.

In a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, you will learn how to take your first steady steps behind a drum kit. Together, we will create a personalized practice plan to ensure you achieve excellent results as quickly as possible. You do not need to own a drum kit to join us; we currently have six full drum kits available. We have three dedicated teaching rooms, one of which is available for your personal practice anytime between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM. We use acoustic drum kits, and every room is equipped with specialized headphones, allowing you to play comfortably for hours on end.

We offer audio and video recording, and we also provide written musical notation for every lesson, allowing you to revisit topics covered in previous sessions. Students can purchase all the essential starter gear from us, including drumsticks, a practice pad, and a metronome.

Additionally, you will have access to our extensive library of learning and practice materials. We teach a wide variety of musical styles, such as rock, metal, blues, jazz, funk, and more. If you would like to surprise someone with a gift, you can order a personalized voucher from us: www.drumschool.pl/prezenty-dla-perkusisty If you would like to encourage your child to play, we recommend our parent-child sessions. In these classes, you and your child play together on two separate drum kits in the same room.

Lessons are led by active, professional musicians in a specially equipped rehearsal space, featuring drum kits, various percussion instruments, and practice pads. Once you have mastered the basics, you will have the opportunity to play alongside other musicians across a range of genres (jazz, funk, blues, rock, metal).

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN YOUR VERY FIRST LESSON?

Are you wondering what your first drum lesson might look like? What can you expect? Do you play drums using sheet music? Can you practice on your own at home? In your first session, you will definitely learn how to read sheet music—it’s simple! We’ll explain the notation system to you in just one minute. We’ll start with how to hold the sticks, how to position your hands, and how to maintain the correct posture. Since technique on the snare drum (or practice pad) is crucial, we’ll go through a few exercises:

As you can see, there are some additional markings on the musical staff, which you will also get to know during your first meeting. Once your hands are positioned correctly and you’ve completed the snare drum exercises, it will be time to play on a full drum kit. Using the three most essential components—the snare drum, the bass drum (kick), and the hi-hat—you’ll play your first rhythms:

Along the way, you’ll learn how these three instruments are represented on the musical staff. You’ll be introduced to the percussion clef, time signatures, repeat signs, and bar lines (and you’ll learn what a „bar” or „measure” actually is). This foundational knowledge will enable you to play many engaging rhythms that you’ll recognize from rock and pop songs. Here are some examples:
